We're thrilled to share some significant developments as Oxford Venture Angels continues to grow and evolve.

Since inception and founding of OVA by Cici Muldoon and David Ford this time last year, OVA has been on a steep upward trajectory. The growth corroborates there is a real need in the Oxford ecosystem for a motivated and knowledgeable Angel Syndicate that can support early-stage founders with more than just capital and provides its members with access to world class deal flow.

With our membership constantly growing – focused on current and former start-up operators – and expanding corporate partnerships including Oxford Science Enterprises and Mishcon de Reya, we're taking important steps to professionalise our structure and strengthen our position as a respected partner in the Oxfordshire startup ecosystem – and beyond.

Welcome Hugo Morgan - Deal Flow Manager

We're delighted to announce the appointment of Hugo Morgan as our Deal Flow Manager. Hugo brings invaluable experience from BIPC Oxfordshire, where he's been instrumental in developing the local startup ecosystem. This critical hire marks an important milestone as we enhance our deal origination and selection process.

To better serve our members and to support our ambitious growth plans to make OVA the first investor of choice for talented local founders, we're establishing a formal Board structure:
